Safe Online Sports Gambling Sites

Like any online business, there are safe and legitimate online casinos and there are casino sites that make money by ripping people off. The same is true for anything you can buy on the Internet: some sites use security encryption, others don’t. Online sportsbook reviews serve a significant role in the sports betting industry, most importantly for you, the bettor. Odds Shark exists to provide free picks, betting tips, previews, odds and game lines, trends, deposit info and objective consumer reports for betting sites. Ther reason is, because we love you – or at least like you a lot.

By not just blindly grabbing the first sportsbook you saw on Google, you’re already showing that you have what it takes to be a successful sports bettor. In an industry where success and failure run on tight margins, you know that getting every little edge you can goes a long way. This doesn’t stop with what sportsbook or sportsbooks (smart line shoppers) you choose to use.

If you’ve got a hot tip or the lock of the century, and you’re ready to get into the action, don’t let us slow you down. Below, you’ll find our list of the top sports betting sites offering the best action on your favorite sports. These sites are the most trusted and will offer the best overall experience in the business.

Top Sports Betting Sites

  • Betnow – A newer sports betting site with fast payouts.
  • MyBookie – Huge variety of sports bets with competitive lines.
  • Bovada – A solid online sportsbook that’s been around forever.
  • Sportsbetting.ag – Safe betting website with a trusted history.
  • BetOnline – One of the early sports betting sites with great bonuses.

If you’ve got a minute, though, grab a chair and stay a while. In the sections below, we’ve put together a whole lot more options and a whole lot more information for your benefit. We have sportsbook recommendations based on what sport you want to bet, where you’re located at in the world, or what type of site you’re looking for.

On top of that, we’re going to take a look at the differences between betting online versus betting at a brick-and-mortar location (and where you can make more money), why our reviews and recommendations are different than the rest of the internet, and what criteria we use to pick out which sites we choose to recommend.

Spoiler, we don’t let anyone pay for better reviews, recommendations, or to be put on any of our lists. Our recommendation lists (including the one above) are strictly merit-based. We’re not here to run ads for people that pay us; we’re here to offer you the best recommendations so that you can get the most bang for your betting buck.

Best Sports Betting Sites | By Sport

If you’re looking for the best betting action based on a specific sport, this is the section of the guide you want to be at. Below, you’ll find our lists of the top recommended online sportsbooks broken down by which sport they offer the most superior action at. Expect to see some crossover, as there are some books that crush in multiple sports.

If you are looking to bet multiple sports, we recommend either picking a book from the top of the page (the all-inclusive leaders) or picking books from each of the lists below. It all comes down to how seriously you take your sports betting or plan to take it. If you’re just here for some kicks and giggles, grab an all-inclusive. But if you’re taking things seriously, check each list for each sport you want to bet. If there is a site that covers all of them, awesome! If not, you may want to look into joining multiple books so that you can get the best action and best line shopping for the sports you’re interested in.

The Big Three Sports

Known commonly in the sports betting industry as the big three, professional baseball, basketball, and football are some of the biggest bet sports in the entire world. Whether you live in the US or abroad, you’ve probably placed at least one bet on one of these sports, or you’re here looking to do so. When you’re betting on a sport that has so much action on it, it’s important to be somewhere that understands what you’re looking for and offers a top-notch product.

The links below will take you to our recommended betting sites for each of the big three sports. We take all the criteria we list at the bottom of this page into account, and then some additional things specific to each sport. If you’re ready to get going in the three biggest worldwide betting markets, click the links below and pick out a site that works for you.

Additional Sports/Leagues/Events

We don’t want to make it sound like these sports are any less important by putting them in the additional sports category. That’s a category usually reserved for the runts and run-off, but not here. You can make just as much of a killing off of any of these “additional sports” as you can with one of the big three. It all comes down to finding value and picking winners. But that all begins with finding the right online sportsbook offering the action that you need.

If you’re ready to get started, click below on the sport or sports you’re interested in to see our recommended picks for the top online betting sites catering specifically to that sport. It’s strange how certain sites will play favorites with certain sports. While we aren’t positive why some of them do it, we just embrace it and take it as a win when they cover our favorite sport more effectively.

Best Sports Betting Sites | By Where You Live

Sometimes, finding an online sportsbook that caters to where you live is much more important than finding one that offers a little better action on one sport or a certain type of action. If that’s the case, we completely get it. This happens a lot, especially if you live or reside in a market where things are a little heavier-regulated than they are in other parts of your country or the world.

Find your region of the world below and check out our top-rated online sports betting sites for your particular area. Keep in mind that we do keep these sections updated very regularly, as things can change. These changes can be new legislation opening up the doors to new sites, or it can be new sites moving into a new market. Whatever the case, we make it our mission to make sure you have knowledge of the best options for betting on sports in your area.

US Sports Betting Sites

‘Merica. If this is where you call home or at least where you’re currently residing, there are plenty of great sportsbook options out there for you to choose from. Because legislation is stricter in some areas of the country, though, you have to be a little more selective with which options you choose to place your bets with. For this reason, we highly recommend checking out our list of the best US sports betting sites below.

Out of all of the lists on this page, this is the one we find ourselves updating the most, so feel free to bookmark it if you like to jump around between books frequently. As legislation changes, more and more companies are moving into the market space, which means a lot more great options for you to choose from.

International Sports Betting Sites

For those of you in the rest of the world, we certainly have not forgotten about you. We know that certain regions like Asia, Europe, Canada, the UK, and Australia have some of the biggest gambling markets in the whole world. And we know that you have needs and wants that are typically different from those of bettors in the United States.

You have different sports that you follow heavily, different laws and legislation, different types of bets you prefer, and even different ways that you like to see those bets presented to you. To help you out, our international staff has put together the best online sportsbooks available to you in your country or region. Click on your country, continent, or region below and get into the action on the right site for your location now.

Best Sports Betting Sites | By Category

When you know what is important to you, it can make it easy to find what you’re looking for. This holds true when it comes to finding the sports betting site that is the best fit for you. Maybe you’re looking for live betting? Or maybe you’re a big hitter looking for some high-stakes action? Maybe you like new sites, and you want to see the latest and greatest in the industry?

Whatever it is that you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered. Below, you’ll find our top online sportsbook recommendations broken down by type and category. Select the category with the criteria that is most important to you, and our experts will show you the best options that cater to your wants.

One thing we do want to point out is that just because a site is not listed in one of these lists does not mean that it does not have the same criteria as sites on other lists. For example, just because a site is on the live betting list but not on the fast payout list does not imply that they have slow payouts. There are just some sites that offer insanely fast payouts and some that have a better live, in-game betting platform.

If you’re ready to find the best online sportsbook based on your unique categorical need, click the appropriate link below now.

The Criteria That Makes These Sites the Best

This sportsbook is the best because it has the prettiest pictures and the coolest-sounding name! Yeah, that’s not something you’re going to hear from us. You see, our experts know exactly what they need to look for to find out which online sportsbooks really are the best. How do they know this? Well, they are a combination of professional bettors and industry professionals. They know what bettors want, what they need, and what they don’t need.

They also know when sites are trying to “pull a fast one” or do something that isn’t right or fair to their customers. We can’t be fooled by pretty graphics, fancy animations, or aggressive promotions. While that stuff sadly works on a lot of unknowing customers, it’s not going to work on us, and we won’t let it work on you.

The list below will lay out what we feel are the most important criteria that make an online sportsbook great. While this is not the complete list of criteria that we take into account, it is what we find to be most important. If we were giving you the complete list, we’d have to ask you to grab more than a chair – you’d probably need a bed since we’d be here all day and night.

We feel it’s important to share this information with you because we want you to know why the betting sites we’ve recommended made our lists. Without any further ado, let’s talk about the different criteria we find to be the most important.

The Amount of Betting Flexibility

If you’re a serious sports bettor, you know that there is a lot more that you can (and should) be able to bet on in a game than just who the winner is going to be. When we bet online, we expect to get a lot more action and bet options than we do betting at a brick-and-mortar location. If an online sportsbook isn’t delivering what we expect, we’re not all about it.

We want to see a lot of different sports you can bet on, a lot of different leagues and organizations within that sport, and then a lot of different types of bets on each game. In addition, we look for the type of coverage they have for preseason games vs. regular-season games vs. postseason/championship games. If they’re only offering great action on popular games or postseason games, that’s not really that impressive. This is one category where we know from our experience in the industry that we can be picky.

A Seamless User Interface

Who doesn’t love a website that’s so painful to use it makes you want to throw your computer into oncoming traffic? Okay, we think we made our point. It’s extremely important to us that an online betting website gives us a user interface that works well. We want to be able to research lines, choose bets, make those bets, and see if we won or lost without losing our minds. Is that really too much to ask for?

Apparently, according to what we’ve seen on a lot of sites, it is way too much to ask for. The problem probably stems from sites building their platform without accommodating for the end user (you) or without making arrangements to allow for expansion. As more and more sports become popular, sites need to add them into the mix to stay competitive.

If their site isn’t built to handle that expansion, they’ll usually try and cram way too much into a space that’s not fit to handle it. This makes for a messy platform that’s tough to navigate and, well, would have you chasing your computer or phone into oncoming traffic to retrieve it.

Superior Online Banking Options

It’s not the early 2000s anymore, and online sports betting is no longer in its infancy. That’s a public service announcement for a lot of the online sports betting sites out there who still haven’t updated their deposit and withdrawal options and procedures to get with the new times. Those are things that used to be a challenge, but they shouldn’t be a hassle at all anymore.

You need to be able to load your money online and get your winnings off in a timely manner. You shouldn’t need to fret about when you’re going to be able to start betting or when you’re going to get paid. To help you understand a lot of the banking options available and how they should work, we’ve put together a completely separate online sportsbook banking guide for you linked below.

Attentive and Available Customer Support Services

We’d like to hope that you’d never have any need for customer service and that everything would go smoothly and according to plan. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a perfect world, and sometimes we need a little bit of help getting what we want to be accomplished done. Because of this, we put a lot into analyzing an online sportsbook’s customer service options and the quality of those options.

What contact methods do they have? Do they have 24/7 options? Are you able to talk to a live person? Does that person speak the same language as you? Does that person have the ability to help you, or is it clear they paid for the cheapest customer service out there? How long does it take to get someone to help you?

These are some of the questions we like to ask when we’re analyzing the effectiveness of an online sportsbook’s customer service team or lack thereof. While we hope you never need to use it, we want to know it’s there for you if you do have to.

Website Security

The internet is full of threats. Hackers spend their days scouring the web trying to find places to exploit people and get their hands on their money and their personal information. Places, where there is a lot of money on the web, tend to attract these types for obvious reasons. Sadly, online betting websites fall into this category due to the billions of dollars that are bet every year on internet sportsbooks.

When we analyze an online sportsbook, we spend a lot of time looking into their security. While we might not talk about this much in our reviews, know that it’s something we weigh heavily.

Typically, if we run into a site with security issues, we won’t even include its review on our site, or we’ll put it on our blacklist so that you know to avoid it.

A Trusted Company

The most important factor we look for with any online betting site we review or recommend is trust. Trust encompasses all of the above factors (which is why we conveniently put it last). We need to be able to trust that an online sportsbook is going to deliver the experience they promise us. This certainly includes having the bets we want, a great interface, easy-to-use banking options, top-notch customer service, and overall website security. If they’re going to promise that they are going to deliver these things to us, we need to know we can trust them to deliver.

Additionally, we need to be able to trust them with the safety and protection of our money and our private personal information. This includes policing their staff and third-party vendors and providing the proper security from outside threats. Your relationship with your online sportsbook should be one of mutual trust.

Sports Betting Online vs. Brick-and-Mortar Betting

Maybe you’re used to betting at a brick-and-mortar sportsbook or casino? Or maybe you’re used to betting with a shady bookie in the backroom of a bar? If this is the first time you’ve considered betting online, we wanted to make sure to cover some of the differences and benefits you’ll see from making the switch.

In the old days, the world of online sports betting was like the wild, wild west. But now, the industry is heavily regulated and offers a much higher-quality experience. Let’s talk about some of the differences and benefits.

Convenience

It’s hard to argue that betting on sports online is not way more convenient than betting at a brick-and-mortar location. When you bet brick and mortar, you have to get in your car, drive to the sportsbook, wait in line, place your bet, drive back home, wait for the game to end, drive back to the sportsbook, wait in line again, cash your ticket, and then drive back home. If you have a significant other, kids, or pets, you have to make arrangements for them, too.

Safest online sports betting sites

When you bet online, though, it’s a totally different story. You don’t have to ever leave your house, office, bar, or anywhere else you are. You can deposit money, place your bets, and request your winnings without ever getting off the couch or out of the chair you’re sitting in. If you’d like to do it all standing up, that’s okay, too. No need to get a babysitter, puppy sitter, or convince your significant other to let you go to the sportsbook or casino again.

The point is that you have way fewer steps that you have to go through to get your bets in, win, and collect your winnings. Making 10 bets online could take you two minutes, while making one bet at a brick-and-mortar location could take you hours. This doesn’t even take into account the stress of dealing with traffic, lines, and nagging family members.

Costs and Protecting Your Profit

While we don’t want to get into the added stress that comes with betting at a brick-and-mortar location, we do want to talk about the added costs that will eat into your profits.

You’re a casual bettor who decides they want to bet $20 on a baseball game over the weekend. For the sake of our argument, we’ll give every benefit of the doubt to the other side and assume you don’t have kids or a pet that needs babysitting. You’re free to go to the sportsbook as you please. We’ll also give the benefit of the doubt and say that you have your own car that gets great gas mileage (30 mpg), and you only live 15 miles away from the casino.

You get to the sportsbook and park your car. We’ll give the benefit of the doubt that parking is free. You place your bets on the Houston Astros at -110 to win. You head home and get ready to watch the game. The Astros play great and win 4 to 1! Boom! You decide to hop in your car and take the short ride to the sportsbook, park, head inside, and hop in line. You get to the window, and they pay you your profit of $18.18. You head home excited about your profitable win.

But how excited should you be?

Well, let’s see how much money you actually made. You had to drive 15 miles to the sportsbook to place your bet, then 15 miles home. Then you had to drive another 15 there and 15 back to cash your ticket. So, you drove 60 miles to place your bet. Let’s assume gas is cheap at around $3 a gallon. You had to use two gallons of gas to place this bet. This means that your $18 in profit is actually a lot more like $12.

You lost 1/3 of your profit just because of a basic cost. This doesn’t take into account the wear and tear on your car, either. Also, what happens if you aren’t 15 miles from a sportsbook? What if you have to drive further? What if you have to pay for parking? What if there are tolls you have to pay on the way? What if you have to pay for a babysitter or a pet-sitter?

If parking costs you $5, you’ll have to pay $10 in parking fees, and your $18 win is now a $2 win. If you think you’re going to be able to beat the book by only making $2 a bet, you need to get someone to pinch you and wake you up.

The reason we share this little story is that a lot of people forget to calculate these things into their profit/loss assessment. They just look at their winning tickets and forget about everything else.

When you bet online, you don’t have to drive anywhere, don’t have to pay for babysitters, and we’re pretty sure that you get to park for free in your driveway or apartment parking lot. Yes, you have to pay for your internet service or phone service, but you’d be paying for those anyway, so it’s really not fair to count those as a cost against your profits.

Security and Safety

While there are a lot of threats online, there are more threats that you need to beware of when you’re betting at a brick-and-mortar location. If you want, take a minute and surf on over to Google and type in “casino patron robbed” and look at how many news stories pop up. It will probably terrify you how often this sort of stuff happens.

Thieves tend to congregate around places where they know vulnerable people are going to be carrying a lot of cash. People drinking, sweating games, distracted by lights, and carrying a lot of cash? Sounds like a casino or sportsbook to us. It also sounds like a dream for thieves. When you have to carry your bankroll around the sportsbook or collect your winnings, you’re going to be a target for thieves.

You run the risk of accidentally misplacing or losing your bankroll or winnings. If you’ve ever lost your wallet or purse before, you know what we’re talking about. Imagine if you had your entire sports betting bankroll in there. From talking with people who have actually lived this nightmare, we know this is not something you ever want any part of.

When you bet online, there are threats, but most of them, you can protect yourself from. As long as you make sure to keep your passwords safe and strong, antivirus up to date, bet with reputable sportsbooks, and don’t download anything sketchy to your computer, you should be able to keep yourself safe from most threats.

Line Shopping

Line shopping is the key to being a winner at sports betting. If you’re betting at brick-and-mortar locations, you’re not going to be able to shop lines unless you feel like driving from sportsbook to sportsbook to see what lines they have to offer. Even if you happen to have more than one book in close proximity, there is no guarantee that they’re going to have better lines or that you’re going to get there in time if they do have a better line. It’s basically a logistical nightmare.

With sports betting sites, you can jump from book to book in a matter of seconds and find the best lines possible for all of your bets. You can easily pick up half points, full points, or better payout odds for a large chunk of your bets every single day.

Sports betting is tough enough to beat by itself; don’t make things harder on yourself by passing up on getting paid more money or getting a better line on the exact same wager. [ Back to Top ↑ ]

Why Our Reviews, Rankings, and Recommendations Are Different

If you’ve ever searched for sportsbook reviews or something similar, you’ve probably notice that a lot of people out there write reviews. Are all reviews created equally? Can you trust all reviews on the web? The answer to both of these questions is no. Too often, sportsbook review sites have ulterior motives or just aren’t good at what they do.

We like to believe that we’re different here for a lot of reasons. We don’t expect you just to take our word for it, though. Instead, we’d like for you to read through some of the major reasons that our reviews, rankings, and recommendations are different from those at other websites around the net. These aren’t all the reasons, but they’re the major ones that we think are important for you to know.

We Can’t Be Bought

This sounds like a quote from a courtroom drama, but it is fitting for how we like to operate our business. We cannot be bought. What does this mean? It means that we never sell spots on our recommendations lists. We don’t let anyone pay us or bribe us for better reviews or higher rankings or recommendations.

Doing so would be unethical. How much could you trust a review that you know was paid for? Do you know what a “review” that has been paid for is really called? An advertisement. If we called ourselves an online sportsbook advertising site, then maybe we’d be okay with doing it. But since we’re not, we’re not okay with it.

You can rest assured that every review here is as honest and accurate as possible because we cannot be bought.

We Utilize Experts and Professionals

We mentioned that a lot of other sites on the net are not very good at their reviews. Do we mean they’re just bad writers? Well, for some, that is the case, but what we’re referring to are review sites that don’t really know what they’re looking for or what they’re doing. They fall victim to the tricks of deceptive sites and are suckers for the fancy graphics and other smoke shows.

Here, we utilize experts in the industry and professional sports bettors to facilitate our reviews. The professional sports bettors know what features are needed and what features are a waste of time. They know what bettors want because they are bettors. They’ve seen plenty of different sites and actually used them.

The industry professionals help to look at the back-end of the site, the terms of service, and their processes. They know how to pick apart what the sites claim to be doing and what they are actually doing. If these two things aren’t the same, then there’s a problem, and our experts will make sure you’re aware of it.

The quality of an online betting site review is capped by the quality of the reviewer.

A high-quality reviewer with the right resume and prerequisites will produce a high-quality, accurate review. A lower-quality reviewer will, well, produce the garbage that you’d expect to get from them.

We Always Error on the Side of Caution

While many online sportsbooks try to be transparent, none of them are letting people pour through their books, finances, and inner workings. No business in any industry does this, so it’s not a bad thing or anything to be alarmed about. But it means that at times there are going to be things that aren’t clear if the site is less transparent than we’d like for them to be.

We’ve seen that a lot of online review sites will typically opt to give the benefit of the doubt to the sportsbook. This is a dangerous practice. “Oh, they don’t tell you how long cash-outs take? Well, we should just assume they’re fast.” Yeah; you can probably see why this is a bad idea to do. It makes their job easier, but it doesn’t help you get an accurate picture of what you’re signing up for.

We always err on the side of caution. If we can’t confirm that something is true, we assume that it’s not. Don’t publish cash-out times and don’t have a way for us to figure out what they are? We’re going to assume they’re terrible. Don’t tell us your process for clearing a bonus? We’re going to assume the worst. Sure, this might seem unfair to the sites, but we feel the onus is on them to provide the information we need to be sure they can be trusted.

We Aren’t Scared of Being Harsh

The last reason we want to mention about why our reviews are much better than the others you’ll find on the web is that we’re not scared to be harsh. We have absolutely no problems going “truth be told” and putting a sportsbook on blast if it’s warranted. Too often, other review sites put on the kid gloves and seem to be scared to dig into the bad aspects of a site.

This is either because they’re just bad at their jobs or because they are getting paid by the sites for better reviews. Tsk tsk… [ Back to Top ↑ ]

Finding the best US gambling sites should not be a stressful affair, right? One of the most appealing characteristics of any site for US online gambling is fast payouts, and we believe that should be the standard. No one wants to win and struggle to get paid the real money they’ve earned. That’s why we’ve created this list from extensive research of the top USA gambling sites.

In an age where choice should be a given and not a luxury, we ensure that the best real money gambling sites we recommend provide you with variety. Whether it comes to choosing your payment method, the type of sports you want to bet on, or the casino games you want to play, we believe you should have the final say on matters.

There’s lot’s more involved in ranking the best online gambling sites for US customers, and we explain all about our process on this page. We also touch on a few other topics that gamblers in the United States might be interested in. Read on to find out more.

If you came simply to know where to gamble online in the US safely, you can get started with any of our recommended sites right away.

Unfortunately, online gambling laws in the United States have made things a little difficult for betting and gaming enthusiasts. Online gambling is not fully licensed and regulated throughout the entire US, which means that some shady operators have taken advantage of American gamblers.

We care a lot about ensuring that our recommended online gambling sites are enough to keep customers happy. There are some excellent real money gambling sites that accept customers from the USA, and some that aren’t really up to scratch.

Then again, there are others that we wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole, given how unsafe they are. The bottom line is that we’re experienced in reviewing and ranking real money gambling sites on the web, so nothing gets past our highly-trained eyes.

We do all the hard work, so you don’t have to. Our up-to-date rankings of the best US gambling sites are proof of that. Of course, you might want to know the things we look for when setting these rankings. You might also have questions around the laws and if we only rank legal US gambling sites or list anything reputable.

How We Rank Online Gambling Sites for US Players

Everyone is entitled to want different things from the gambling site they play at. Despite this, we can all agree on a few things we expect from the best online gambling sites.

First things first, here are a few qualities we look for in any real money gambling site.

  • Fully licensed and regulated by a trusted body
  • Safe, secure, and steadfast in protecting customers’ sensitive information
  • Reputable and trustworthy

There’s no doubt that safety should come first when choosing a United States gambling site. We only recommend sites that have absolutely satisfied the above criteria. And not one of our recommended online gambling sites has ever failed to do so.

But there’s more to being a top gambling site than being safe to use. Some of our recommended options offer sportsbooks, casino games, and even poker rooms. These “all-in-one” sites tend to do well with many US customers, but some do prefer sites that cater to just sports betting or casino games.

Here are a few things we just love to see.

We believe you deserve a wide range of markets and the kind of betting odds that keep you coming back for more, regardless of the sports you love to bet on.

The most popular US gambling sites have an extensive sportsbook that delivers nonstop sports betting action to fans of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and much more.

Our recommended online gambling sites in the United States know how to keep their customers happy, that’s for sure.

Many US-based gamblers want more than just the basics, however. Therefore, a site that offers odds on boxing, MMA, EPL soccer, entertainment, politics, and other markets are crucial to betting enthusiasts all over the country.

Many sports betting fans also like to play casino games. Our top-rated US gambling sites offer everything under one roof, making it even easier to bet on sports and play online casino games.

Whether you have a penchant for slots, a romance with roulette, or a love of blackjack, you can find all the games you love neatly categorized and readily available to play. Oh, and let’s not forget other games like video slots, baccarat, and craps.

When it comes to live casino games and all of the above, our top online gambling sites only use modern, state-of-the-art software when producing titles you love. It shouldn’t be any other way!

Numerous Banking Methods and Fast Payouts

Nothing is more frustrating than signing up at a site with a poor range of deposit methods. Luckily for you, our recommended real money gambling sites do more to provide options to their customers.

You will find several deposit methods available for you to use, such as debit cards, credit cards, Bitcoin, money transfer and more. What’s better than this is that the top online gambling sites also process US customers’ payments fast and efficiently.

Safe Online Sports Betting Sites

What’s not to love about getting paid quickly?

When ranking our leading US gambling sites, we spend a lot of time analyzing the bonuses, promotions, and other offers that they provide to customers.

The Advantages of Online Gambling from America

One of the greatest things to happen in the history of gambling was the internet. Sure, the early days of online betting and gaming may have been a little rough around the edges, but things have improved so much since then.

We can now access some of the best US gambling sites from the comfort of our own homes and enjoy the opportunity to place bets or play some incredible casino games in a matter of seconds. Without this luxury, we would have to rely on other ways to gamble.

It gets you thinking, doesn’t it? There are many advantages to online gambling that you won’t find anywhere else, that’s for sure. Read a few examples below.

It’s the convenience of being able to bet from anywhere that really makes gambling on the internet special.

If you have a smartphone or device with an internet connection, you could be placing parlays on the NFL or putting chips down on the roulette table from your living room or on the beach.

Variety

You can access tons of sports markets and casino games with a couple of swipes of your index finger. You will find all kinds of markets, including foreign sports, entertainment, and even politics. Then, when you have your bets placed, you can move to another part of the site and start spinning those slot reels.

Try traveling to a casino or sportsbook and doing the same.

The greatest part of gambling online is finding the right site for you. We all enjoy different parts of the online betting or playing experience, but the site that does it for a friend may not necessarily appeal to you.

The best US gambling sites often allow you to customize certain parts of the site to make it really feel like home.

With so many options out there, it can be a pain to find the one that fits like a glove. But, by following our recommended betting sites, we can get you there quicker.

As we mentioned earlier, gambling online in the United States can be a bit confusing in terms of the legal issues. This is because of how US gambling laws are governed (local, state, and federal gaming regulations apply) and just how outdated a number of these gaming regulations are.

With more and more states changing how they treat online gambling from a legal standpoint, it’s important to understand how these changes could affect you. Depending on where you live in the United States, you’ll either find things straightforward or difficult to understand.

But there’s no need to worry! Below, you will find a link to our US gambling laws and regulation page that will explain everything you need to know. It’s always good to make sure you’re using a legal US gambling site, so make sure to do a little research based on your state.

Is online gambling legal in the US?

Yes, online gambling is legal in the US. Some states have gone as far to regulated and provide licenses for legal online gambling sites to operate and accept residents from their states. Not all sites are legal though, so make sure to understand the laws in your particular state.

If you gamble through a safe and trustworthy site, online gambling is 100% safe.

However, if you choose a site at random without understanding who they are and how they work, you could be putting yourself at risk.

Are bonuses and promotions worth it?

Many bonuses and promotions are offered to customers in order to attract them to sign up for a site. Unfortunately, not all of them prove to be easy to convert into real cash.

Some US online gambling sites have unreasonable wagering requirements that prevent players from making anything from these bonuses.

The best US gambling sites still have wagering requirements on their promotions. Wagering requirements are effectively what prevents sites from being cleaned out.

Let’s say you get a $20 bonus that comes with wagering requirements of 20x. In order for you to win money from the bonus, you would have to turn it over 20x, to the value of $400. Anything after this is yours.

What is an “all in one” gambling site?

This term describes betting sites that offer a sportsbook, casino, poker room, or other services. For the most part, it’s one that allows you to place sports bets and play games such as roulette, blackjack, etc.

We spend thousands of hours every year scrutinizing each and every online gambling site we rank, just to make sure they’re safe, secure, and of the highest caliber. Rankings can vary state by state depending on various factors like the legal situation of a particular state.

With years of experience under our belts, and a lot of inside knowledge in the gambling community, we’ve formulated a method of distinguishing safe real money sites from those to avoid. And we have a stellar reputation for doing just that.
